Asia finals Youth debates: 1st place goes again to DSSH

In April, students from both age groups successfully qualified for the Asian finals. The Asia Final Jugend debattiert was held online on June 13 and 14, after a preparatory workshop with a speaker from Germany prepared the 24 participants from the German schools abroad in the region. 
Sonja (9b) took second place in age group I (grades 8 and 9), Jamie (10b) came in fourth in age group II (grades 10 and 11), and Aron (10a) deservedly secured first place. The online format was no obstacle to best performances, as the participants were well prepared through e-learning. 
The fact that first place again went to Shanghai makes it clear who debates best in the Asia region.
